Aloïse is a non-profit project driven by Michael Swaney, dedicated to exalting art forms that are often overlooked, non-academic and inhabit the fringe of society. We want to enable a less elitist, transparent online acquisition of these creators' artwork, providing them with visibility and helping to expand the discourse around what constitutes art and who gets to be called an artist. Aloïse is an homage to the great Swiss visionary, Aloǐse Corbaz.
